In the beginning of things in ages past there were the Ancient Ones , masters of flesh , fire and steel , who forged the elements of which the land was made. When men and beasts came into the world the Ancient Ones purposed to have dominion over them , hence they commanded that the Dark Elves create the "Swords of the Ancients". They were forged of secret alloys and each sword was bequeathed its own special power. The swords have been used throughout the ages in the eternal struggle between good and evil. Designed by fantasy artist Kit Rae , these high quality adult collectible swords feature intricately detailed solid metal handle parts and tempered , 420 stainless steel blades . Cinthorc - Sword of Justice
Cinthorc is the seventh sword and its power is to deal out just punishment to wrong doers. The thorny hilts are intertwined with silver vines and engraved upon the crossguard is an incantation of the Ancients. The grip is wire-wrapped and the pommel is forged as a flower surrounding a red thorcan jewel; a powerful talisman of the Anath.

Molotoch is the eighth sword , and the most deadly of the Swords of the Ancients , for it gives the user boundless skill and speed , as well as great focused rage to beat down an enemy. The hilt is adorned with many death heads and Vasthar , the desert spider , is on the guards. The pommel is fashioned with the shape of carrion bird heads , the eaters of the dead.

The Special Edition of the latest in the Kit Rae Fantasy Art Collection is the Valdris , the chosen blade of the Mithrodin , a secret cadre of elite warriors in service of Queen Vaelen in the war against the Black Legion. The hilt of the Valdris , like many blades of the Great Realm of Ammon , was fashioned from the bones and armor of Baelin , great brutal and ruthless beasts created by the Dark One for his Black Legion. Its twin blades , forged of a shimmering steel from the mines of Lokonia , were designed for the intricate blocking and offensive fighting style the Mithrodin used in their combat. Inspired by the mystical Tibetan Spirit daggers used to stab demons and ward off evil spirits during ancient Tibetan rituals. These knives were originally employed in necromantic ceremonies to exorcise or protect against evil demons that produced disease or death. The horrid head on the pommel represents the demon or "fiend" to be warded off and the fierce tiger heads on the guard are symbols to scare the demon away. The Serpent Dagger is one of the Blades of Chaos , a series of edged fantasy creations from the Fourth Age of "The Tale of the Swords of the Ancients" , created by fantasy artist Kit Rae. The Serpent Dagger , the most vile of all of the Blades of Chaos , was called Nasek in the Ancient's language and it was fashioned in the shape of many intertwined snakes and held a serpentine blade of unbreakable metal. This Egyptian inspired fantasy knife is one of the most popular knives in the Kit Rae Fantasy line. This unique dagger is based on Isis - The Egyptian goddess of fertility. In ancient times it was believed that without Isis' blessing , Egypt would become barren and void of fruitful harvest or livestock. The pommel displays the symbols of fertility ( cow horns and sun disc ) which were traditionally shown on her crown. The guard is a horned design with intertwined serpents ( the protectors of Isis ) at its center. Both have an antique silver-plated finish. The handle is carved with a snakeskin texture. The fantasy styled blade is marked with the designer , Kit Rae's logo and the Isis crown on the back.
