Legolas Greenleaf, a Sindarin Elf of the Woodland Realm, was sent to Rivendell as a messenger and took part in the Council of Elrond, where he was chosen to represent the Elves in the Fellowship of the Ring. Legolas, who possesses keen senses, is an expert archer and master with Elven fighting knives, which he carried on his back in scabbards on either side of his quiver. He proved to be a valuable asset to the Fellowship as they journeyed into territories of evil. In keeping with the natural harmony of the Elves, Legolas’ Fighting Knives have a flowing organic design, are adorned with Elven vine motifs, and the blades feature a very detailed filigree etch. Officially Licensed Fighting Knives of Legolas includes a parchment certificate of authenticity.
Manufactured and licensed by United Cutlery, Herugrim-Sword of King Theoden is Reproduced from the Actual prop sword using only the finest grade materials and craftmenship: In the New Line Cinema film, "The Return of the King", Monarch of the land of Rohan, King Theoden, courageous soldier and leader of the land of Rohan, fell under the power of the wizard Saruman through the slithering machinations of his servant Grima. Only through the intervention of Gandalf the White was Theoden exorcised of Saruman's corrupting influence. Gandalf said to Theoden, "Your fingers would remember their old strength better if they grasped your sword," and at that moment Theoden's mind cleared, his authority as king returned to him, and his great sword, Herugrim was once more returned to his grasp. Theoden went on to lead the defense of Helm's Deep and the charge of the Rohirrim to the aid of Gondor and against the hordes of the enemy that assailed the White City. The hope of all Men and Free Peoples then lay in the defense of Minas Tirith. Includes a parchment certificate of authenticity. Blade Material: Tempered, 420 J2 stainless steel with a double fuller grind, false-edged.Note: False edged swords have a distinct edge, but the edge is dulled a few millimeters to make it less sharp. Handle: Solid metal guard and pommel with antiqued brass plated finish, the hilts are cast in the symbols of the famed horses of Rohan and the grip is genuine leather-wrapped, rat-tail tang construction.
