Anduril : The Sword of Aragorn with Display Plaque from the Lord of the ring Collection Anduril "Flame of the West" Sword of Aragorn Narsil/Anduril are perhaps the most famous swords in "The Lord of the ring" trilogy. At the end of the second age of Middle-earth , Narsil's blade was shattered , as Elendil fell during the Last Alliance of Elves and Men in the great battle against Sauron , creating the Shards of Narsil. Isildur , Elendil's son , then used the broken hilt of Narsil to cut "The One Ring" from Sauron's finger , breaking the bonds of his power , banishing his evil shadow into the darkness. The Shards were kept in Rivendell , the house of Elrond , for safe keeping. Legend told that the sword would one day be reforged and the king would return.
The Sword of Elendil was forged anew by elvish smiths, and on its blade was traced a device of seven stars set between the crescent Moon and the rayed Sun, and about them were written many runes; for Aragorn son of Arathorn was going to war upon the marches of Mordor. Very bright was that sword when it was made whole again; the light of the sun shone redly in it, and the light of the moon shone cold, and its edge was hard and keen. And Aragorn gave it a new name and called it Anduril, Flame of the West. This will become the greatest sword of the Trilogy, one that all true fans must own.

Helm of King Elendil with Display Stand from the Lord of the ring Collection
Limited Edition The Helm of King Elendil Elendil , wise and fair King and builder of the strongholds of Gondor , kept watch over much of Middle-earth. For more than an Age , a great darkness covered the lands until Elendil united with Gil-galad to form The Last Alliance of Elves and Men. Elendil led his men to victory against Sauron and his legions of orcs , in the Battle of Dagorlad. Then , on the slopes of Mount Orodruin , despite heavy losses , the Alliance managed to drive Sauron's forces back. Cornered there , Sauron himself took to the battlefield. After heavy battle , Sauron slayed the Great King of Men , Elendil and shattered his legendary sword , Narsil. The armour and helm of Elendil were adorned with the feathered wings and crests of seabirds. These emblems represented Elendil's arrival from over the sea in ships that sailed on the wings of the wind. The crest and wings of Elendil's helm were slighty larger than other Gondorian helms , symbolizing his status as king.

Lord of the ring: Hadhafang : Sword of Arwen with a Hardwood Display
Arwen's sword is called Hadhafang which means Throng-cleaver. It once belonged to the Elven princess
Idril , who wed a mortal man and bore Earendil , the father of Elrond who in turn was father to Arwen. Before Arwen's birth Elrond wielded Hadhafang at the end of the second age of Middle-Earth , during the Last Alliance of Elves and Men in the great battle against Sauron. Later his daughter Arwen used Hadhafang when she aided Frodo in his escape from the Ringwraiths. Inscribed on the blade are runes in the Elven language of Sindarin that say "aen estar Hadhafang i chathol hen , thand arod dan i thang an i arwen." Which translates to "this blade is called Hadhafang , a noble defense against the enemy throng for a noble lady." The original inscription included the last line "Idril i hel en aran Gond dolen" , which translates to "Idril , daughter of the king of the Hidden Rock (Gondolin)." It was dropped from the finished prop due to a lack of space.
There is an intentional pun in the inscription - the Sindarin translation of "noble lady" is "arwen" , so in effect , the blade claims to be for Arwen, even though it was made for her grandmother.
